Much of the training can be completed with minimal equipment needed and can often be performed from the comfort of your lounge or backyard. Your personal trainer will be able to adjust your routine to account for the basic equipment you have at home, such as bands or dumbbells. Alternatively, they can also take you through challenging bodyweight-only exercises as well. Clients are often offered online check-ins as well as ongoing support to help them maintain their goals through the lockdowns. What is fantastic about online training is the fact that you can usually work with your trainer consistently through in-person sessions and transition to online-only when necessary. This allows a certain level of continuity and normality that can be important for many through such a difficult time.
